The customer service has been great. There was a hiccup in shipping but etrailer made all things good. No hassle. The fender is just what I supposed it to be , as per description on web. The jacks will be on my trailer soon. The fender mounts exceeded my expectations.

by:

worked as described for mounting wheel covers on utility trailer.

by:

O3-05-24 I received my two fenders and brackets. Items were well packed. I'm looking forward to getting them mounted. Thanks you E-trailer

by:

Thought brackets would include bolts

by:

I had a few tire blowouts that destroyed the previous plastic fenders. After ordering steel fenders and brackets from etrailer, my trailer looks brand new! Great delivery and products!

by:

The mounting brackets worked perfectly.

by:

Used with CE Smith Jeep style fender CE18041ATB fits perfect!

Brackets and fender still look great and solid

by:

worked well on my fenders. I both welded and bolted. Fender is is solid.

by:

Customer service assisted me tracking order after I messed up email address. Brackets arrived on time. They are plenty sturdy and should serve for years.

4/5/2023

The brackets are dutifully supporting the fenders and adding a galvanized flash of silver to my black trailer.

by:

A lot heavier duty than anticipated. Great surprise

by:

Very well made. Definitely strong enough to hold a fender on a trailer.

by:

These are serious brackets! Glad I found them...perfect for my trailer rebuild as I wanted removable fenders which I got from you earlier! The best.

Eric

1/4/2023

These brackets worked out great. I had to weld some metal to my trailer to mount them to, but it is what I wanted. Had to make some homemade spacers too...use some solid maple from an old cutting board and they worked out perfect!

by:

Very sturdy and have held up for the year they have been installed.

by:

Awesome from start to finish! I wish bolts needed would have been display as brackets were.

by:

Heavy duty! etrailer has been my go to supplier for anything trailer and once again they have hit a home run with these extra heavy duty fender brackets! Once mounted I believe they could support the weight of a elephant jump roping!

Chuck D.

10/13/2018

Well it has been a year and the fenders and extremely heavy duty brackets have held up great! Etrailer should be your go to online shopping mall for anything related to trailers!

by:

This combination of products will suit my needs very well. With the harsh winter road conditions of upper Michigan, they should resist corrosion and last quite a while. They will be mounted on an utility trailer used in camp for working in the woods. That's why I choose the sturdy flat top fenders, which will double as a work bench.

Duane

9/10/2015

They have been holding up quite well. They pretty much still look like brand new.

by:

Nice heavy duty brackets. I searched quite a bit to find a bracket designed specifically for my jeep-style boat fenders, but without success. These are advertised for round fenders, but they fit the jeep-style as well. I think they would fit a pretty broad range of fender styles.

Phil

6/23/2017

Its been a year, and these brackets have held up well. No sign of corrosion after repeated immersions in salt water.

by:

Great product! etrailer provided a video on the product prior to order so I knew exactly what I was getting. Product showed up as advertised high-quality and in a timely manner. Would definitely order again and recommend to others.

by:

Very sturdy. Much more robust than the original brackets which all broke. Came on time with cheap shipping. Easy web site to use. The holes in the bracket even lined up with the holes in the fenders. That's good planning!

Bob C.

10/25/2017

I used the brackets to mount fenders on my boat trailer. They are still attached and working fine. The trailer has not made any long trips, however.

by:

etrailer.com was fantastic to deal with. I was a little confused about which mounting hardware to use and they looked it up for me, making sure I got the correct stuff. The products arrived very quickly and everything was well packaged to make sure the products were protected during shipping. I would definitely purchase from them again.

by:

Heavy gauge galvanized metal that fit perfectly with the fenders I purchased from eTrailer. Can't speak to the quality of the galvanization yet.

Robert

11/3/2021

The trailer is stored outdoors year round, in Florida and Wisconsin. A year later, the effects of weathering on the etrailer parts are minimal. Not so with the rest of the trailer, where treating rust is a constant chore.

by:

It looks like a good product but arrived damaged. I decided to return and buy local where I could pick it up myself. Difficult to call for return/refund. Long hold times. Once I reached a person he was very good at his job and stated I would receive an email with return instructions. It has been a week and still have not received instructions to return.

Sorry to hear about the damage to your item. It does take about a week for a pre-paid label for damage to be sent to your email.

by:

Did what they were designed for. Worked well

Right on time!!!

  • 2017 Winnebago Winnie Drop Travel Trailer Replacement Fender Recommendation
The closest fender we have to the specs you sent in is the Single Axle Trailer Fender for Enclosed Trailer for 13" to 15" Wheels # HP66FR which measures 36" long x 10-3/4" wide x 20" tall and installs using the Mounting Brackets # CE26098G-2. It's a little larger than what you currently have but will fit with your tires just fine.

  • Trailer Fender for 14"-15" Wheels
The Single Axle Trailer Fender # HP79FR is for the passenger side only. This is because the slant-back design makes each model specific to one side or the other. It looks like this fender is being phased out by the manufacturer. We only have the passenger side in stock, so that's why the driver side version of this fender is not available. I recommend that you use a symmetrical fender that can be used on either side, such as the CE Smith Single Axle Trailer Fender # CE17900G. This is...

  • Could Single Axle Trailer Fender # CE18041ATB be Reinforced to Support Weight
If you used strong enough brackets when installing the Single Axle Trailer Fender # CE18041ATB they'd be strong enough to support people of all shapes and sizes. These don't have a specific weight capacity but they are pretty strong. Normally we recommend the brackets part # CE26098G-2 for each fender installed like the picture I attached. You might install several of these brackets.

  • Can the etrailer Single Axle Fender and the CE Smith Fender be Welded or Bolted
The etrailer brand Single Axle Fender, # HP69VR, and the CE Smith Single Axle Fender, # CE17800G, are both slightly smaller than your current fenders. The etrailer brand fender is 28 inches long x 7-3/4 inches wide x 10 inches tall and is compatible with 13 inch and 14 inch wheel configurations. The CE Smith fender is 27-3/8 inches long x 8 inches wide x 11 inches tall and is compatible with 13 inch wheel applications. These are the closest fenders that we carry to your current fenders....

  • 9" Wide x 32" long x 14" tall Slant Back Trailer Fender
The closest thing we have in those dimensions is the Single Axle Trailer Fender for Boat Trailers item # HP48VR. It measures 9" Wide x 32" long x 14" tall. You can weld the fender onto your trailer or use the Mounting Brackets for Trailer Fender item # CE26098G-2. This does not have a padded back.

  • Tire to Fender Clearance Recommendation for etrailer Tandem Axle Trailer Fenders
We recommend having 4" of clearance from tire treads to any fenders, including the Tandem Axle Trailer Fenders # HP22FR. This gives you enough leeway for the trailer suspension to flex up and down during travel without your tires rubbing against the fenders. You can install this fender using mounting brackets like part # CE26098G-2. Attached are some videos for you to check out.

On the CE Smith Fender Brackets # CE26098G-2 the long side of the bracket is 8-1/4 inches, the shorter side of the bracket is 6-1/2 inches, the bracket is an 1-1/2 inch in width, on the shorter side the holes of the bracket measure 4 inches, on the shorter side the holes measure 2-3/8 inches, each hole is 3/8 of an inch thick. I attached a video that shows all of these measurements being taken.

  • Fenders Needed for 16 Wheels on Escort Boat Trailer
The fenders we have available that are compatible with 16" wheels are parts # HP46VR and # HP46FR which are 16 gauge steel and can be either welded-on or bolted on. Keep in mind the fenders are not pre-drilled and the required mounting brackets for a bolt on installation are sold separately as part # CE26098G-2. Unfortunately we don't have any plastic fenders like what you were looking at that fit the larger 16" wheels.

If you want the backing plate you would instead use the Single Axle Trailer Fender with Backing - Cold Rolled Steel - 14" to 15" Wheels - Qty 1 # HP36VR if you have 15 inch wheels.

  • Does the Fulton Single Axle Trailer Fender with Top and Side Steps Come With Hardware
The Fulton Single Axle Trailer Fender with Top and Side Steps part # F008595 does not come with any hardware or brackets but we do offer the brackets separately, I recommend the Mounting Brackets part # CE26098G-2. The hardware would be able to be obtained at a local hardware store no problem.

  • Fender Recommendation for 13 inch Wheel for Use with Bracket # CE26098G-2
A much better fender option for you would be the part # HP69VR to use with the brackets part # CE26098G-2. Reason being this fender has a 90 degree angled side on the inside of it that allows it to easily be used with fender brackets like this that have a 90 degree angle in them like the # CE26098G-2. The # CE17721 has radiused corners that would be difficult to use a bracket with 90 degree angles.

  • Fender Backing Plate Compatibility with etrailer 15 Inch Wheel Fender HP29VR
The Backing Plate for Single Axle Trailer Fender - 30" Long x 12" Tall # HP42FR will not a direct fit for the fender # HP29VR. The backing plate is designed to directly fit the fender # HP36VR, however with very slight adjustments, it can work well. This is the best option we carry to closely fit that fender. With any of these trailer fender options, you will still want to use fender brackets like the Mounting Brackets for Trailer Fender - 13"/14"/15" Wheels - Galvanized Steel - Qty...

  • How Do Fenders # HP36VR Mount to Trailer Usually
Ideally you would weld on the fenders part # HP36VR since they have a backing plate. The L-brackets like the part # CE26098G-2 could be made to work but it wouldn't be the cleanest way to install the fender.

  • Will CE Smith Single Axle Trailer Fender # CE17100ATB Be a Good Fit for Tear Trailer
With the measurements that you have provided for your current fenders, it sounds like the CE Smith Single Axle Trailer Fender, # CE17100ATB, would be a great replacement option. To mount these fenders you could use Mounting Brackets for Trailer Fender, # CE26098G-2. These brackets are sold in pairs and one pair is required for each fender. I have also included a link to the other fenders that we offer which are similar in size to your current fenders.

  • Mounting Option for the CE Smith Single Axle Trailer Fender # CE17960ATB
I would not recommend mounting the CE Smith Single Axle Fender, # CE17960ATB, by screwing through the lip. You will have less than 1/2 of an inch from the bottom edge of the lip to the curve. This would not leave enough room for a washer to spread out the force of the bolt on the fender. Instead, I recommend using trailer fender mounting brackets like part # CE26098G-2. These mounting brackets have 3/8 inch diameter mounting holes, so you will want to choose your mounting hardware accordingly.

It is wider by about 7/8" so you will want to check that on your current fender as well. If you are still concerned about the clearance on your enclosed trailer I recommend the Single Axle Trailer Fender # HP49FR. The fender is 10-3/4" wide, 32" long, and 15-1/4" tall which will easily fit your larger ST225/75R15 Tire # AM10256 that is 8.9" wide, and 28.3" in...
